As a certified hair extension specialist, Marie transforms hair with expertly applied extensions, creating seamless, natural-looking volume and length. She also specializes in precision curly haircuts, ensuring that each client’s natural texture is enhanced and beautifully shaped. In addition to extensions and cutting, Marie offers professional color and blonding services, delivering stunning, customized results.

Delaney Gillman,
Global Color Specialist &

Since Delaney Gilman joined Salon Berardo she has continued to build a highly regarded reputation for her creativity, precision, and dedication to helping every client feel their most confident.
Her specialties include special event styling—updos and makeup—along with precision cuts, blowouts, and both vivid and dimensional color transformations. Delaney particularly loves creating short, tailored cuts such as bobs and pixies, and she takes pride in her training with both Redken and Wella color systems. She’s known for her attention to detail during highlight services, ensuring a seamless, blended grow-out that makes maintenance easier for her clients.
Born and raised in Buffalo, Delaney’s journey to cosmetology was shaped by her natural creativity. Before pursuing beauty full-time, she attended college, played field hockey, and earned an associate’s degree in general studies, exploring education, business, and biology along the way. Ultimately, she realized her true passion had always been right in front of her: experimenting with her own hair and makeup as a way to express herself. That love of artistry and personal transformation guided her to the beauty industry.
One of Delaney’s favorite career moments came when a client who rarely styled their hair asked for a cut that required no styling at all. Initially hesitant, Delaney embraced the challenge—and when the client returned raving that it was the perfect cut for their lifestyle, it reminded her that listening, adapting, and personalizing every service is what makes this profession so meaningful.
For Delaney, the best part of being a cosmetologist is the moment a client sees themselves in the mirror and smiles—radiating the confidence that a great cut or color can bring. She describes it as the ultimate reward: “There’s no better feeling than seeing that shift in someone’s confidence and knowing I helped them feel truly beautiful.”
Anthony Berardo,
Our Founder
Anthony Berardo has been a defining presence in the Western New York hair styling scene for nearly 60 years, known for his innovative cuts and timeless color work. His career began in Italy and ultimately led to the creation of Salon Berardo in 2012—a space he designed and built with his wife, Linda. Today, Salon Berardo remains home to some of WNY’s most talented hairstylists and estheticians.
Dedicated to staying current with the latest products, techniques, and trends, Anthony has always embraced a personalized approach to beauty—an ethos he instilled in his team, who continue to provide exceptional, client-centered service.
Though Anthony is no longer with us, We at Salon Berardo remain steadfast in our commitment to continue his legacy.
